We have gun's available - half and full at a well established good humoured fully driven shoot near Denbigh North Wales.
The shoot is set across a small number of farms in rural North Wales offering excellent terrain for high and often challenging birds.
The shoot benefits from a very experienced part-time keeper and a team of established guns and beaters.
Full gun -9 days - £3285
Half gun - 4.5 days - £1642
Mostly Pheasant with some duck / partridge.
Cooked breakfast, lunch and drinks are offered at a small extra.
The shoot is looking for new guns to join a good team of guns who shoot and socialise together.
Shoot days are Wednesday with an 8.30-9am start.
Dog's welcome, trained ones even more so.

Looking for a small shoot or land to rent in North Wales, ideally near the A55 Corridor. Budget of circa £2,000 annually.
I'm not looking for a driven syndicate unless it includes off season vermin and a flight pond.

How many days pigeon shooting you looking for for a days pheasant shooting.
Hi Chuck, Not really sure pal, one or a couple maybe, I know it can be a bit hit and miss on the pigeons, but driven days can be a bit hit and miss too ! Just trying to get a few contacts up in the north west as i've not long moved up... what do you think would be reasonable ? I've got unlimited duck / good flights in anglesey, but again, they can be hit and miss too !

I can offer Goose / Duck flights in Anglesey North Wales (Early morning Grey Lag fligting onto fields using decoys... Mallard & Wigeon onto my fed flight pond, morning, daytime or evening), and/or a guest day on a driven pheasant shoot in Shropshire. (50 bird day inc Lunch and Port etc.) for no charge.
In return however, I would like to find some pigeon shooting in the North West or Midlands.
I have shot for 20 years, I have BASC and all equipment including magic pigeon, electric flappers, roosting poles, 50+ decoys. I have an excellent knowledge of decoy patterns, flight lines & roosting etc. I am happy to recon local land as required. I also have a black Lab if needed. I shoot an Winchester SX3 or a Beretta 686.

Get cheap ones from Decathalon (£10 ish)... your only gonna rip them on a fence first day out

its worth noting I shoot a brand spanking Winchester SX3 which cost best part of a grand... and my mate shoots this Escort... we shoot with each other weekly... mines jammed once this year, and his hasnt jammed yet ! :o take from that what you will 
Aaaaanyway... Does anyone know of anyone that wants to swap barrels ?

Don't shoot low birds... pheasant shooting is different to most, its not about the tally at the end, its the quality of the birds shot...

Cheers Cosd... I was told by a chap at my gun shop its no probs with the Escorts, but I'm not 100% sure myself.. also wonder how the FAD will take it ? Esspecially if the barrells are stamped with seriel numbers etc ? :blink:

Stick to a few full body crow's and a couple of flappers, get a call and practice calling (sit in a field and listen).. you'll have them coming in better than using an owl etc...

I use an SX3 3.5, 28inch.. I find with the extra length of "lock" on an auto instead of a traditional O&U / SBSm, 30inch is just too long... but thats only my opinion

Wildfowling is one of the most demanding but rewarding forms of shooting.
To me it's shooting in the purest form. Man against intelligent animal.
Hours / weeks / years of planning, learning and waiting.
But if / when you get that perfect shot, its all been worth it.

Hi,
My friend has an Escort Magnum semi auto with 30inch Barrels.
He would like to get a set of 28inch barrels but the cost is prohibiting him.
Would anyone like to "swap" their 28 inch barrels with his 30 inch barrels ?
It's a matt black finish and they are in good / used condition.
Not overly sure how this will work with the FAD, but once a swapper is found i'm sure something can be arranaged.
He is also willing to pay a little extra for your 28inch if desired.

Socks are ok for canada's as they are relatively easy to fool.... for Greys I would always opt for full bodied... however... FUD's are ok if you have a distance to walk... ask your mate what he would like in his pattern...... he may not appreciate socks in a full bodied patern as they may ruin the effect... next, learn how to call with a caller... good decoys need good calling... I recommend DJ callers and youtube for advice on calling

I'm looking for a rough, syndicate or pigeon shooting and will travel anywhere in the UK. I will also be willing to pay for the chance. I shoot 12, 20 and 410 gauge as well as .22 Air Rifle.
Dogs also available if required.
I also have BASC shooting insurance...
