    My FAC for my .22 rimmy is up for renewal in May this year. I am a box of 50 rounds away from having used 2000 rounds since I got the cert almost 5 years ago. I will soon be adding another 500 rounds, so that's 2500... maybe a few more before May (renewal).

    My question is, have I used enough to warrant a renewal?, as the FEO would say - "use it or lose it!"

    I actually asked my friend, who takes me up in his plane, what the procedures were if he were to pass out/die if we were up... I've had the controls for some flying each time we go up, and he was quite confident that I'd be able to land in a field quite safely with my limited experience + flying model planes for 20 odd years :good::good:

    I always remember a car i once owned in my yoof-a mk2 Vauxhall Astra GTE in the obligatory polar white with digital dash! Vauxhall in their infinite wisdom made the rear arch return lip in such a way that dirt festered away in there un-noticed and they rusted from inside out.

     

    Exactly what happened to my Carlton GSi... which also had the digital dash! :( :hmm::huh:
