    That i a very generic list. I know that a lot of Spanish and Italian shot sizes are only 1/2 a size bigger than the UK - RC, Nobelsport and Rio, for example.

     

    Well, i've shot thousands of Kent velocity, never had a problem with performance. I don't know anyone who doesn't like them. As said before, if you're having problems, look at your own technique first.

    I Have just paid out the fee to join a syndicate to shoot over a farm from a member on here, but he says i dont need a permission slip or anything. "Just go and shoot" also he is not the land owner. Advice Please.

    not wanting to start a big debate but,,, ive put a few people onto tony the game keeper at attleborough and ive never herd a bad word about him ive shot there loads of times ,there are 1000s of birds about and can be good shooting,the estate is huge and they take all there shoot management very seriously and the fee is slightly higher then some but still fair

    tony has been keeper there for years and knows his job and land well ,lets all remember pigeons are wild birds and there feeding habits seem to be varied at the minute

     

    Just ask motty about tony terry the keeper at besthorp hall estate Attleborough norfolk, selling pigeon shooting on evil bay.

    All he wants is your money, he did the same to me as he did to motty "never again" :no:

    To add to our two family wood pigeon pets which eat us out of house and home in bird seeds, it seems now that we have another addition to the garden collection. It's a brown duck :blush: that's about as technical as I can get unfortunately.

     

    It seems well enough and happily waddles along but reluctant to fly. It comes to about 6 feet of us to feed on bread but any sudden movement or if you try to get closer it runs off rather than flies off. It looks very healthy and not at all under nourished.

     

    So here's the stupid question :oops: Do ducks eat fish?

     

    I don't want to find he's not just after the bread and he/she is nicking fish from my pond as well. If that's the case and he insists on staying I will start getting a new bed ready for him/her in the oven :lol:

    well hes in the wrong buisness then its (his job) to make sure your looked after your paying for it for christs sake, so after an hour he should have sussed the situation whether or not your on for a decent day, then leave you where you are or have somewhere else planned to take you too and not do it 2 hrs after you contact him. to me it sounds like he plonked you in a spot and left without monitoring the shooting or lack of it.

    I had a day yesterday that was paid for by the old man as a christmas present. I went to Besthorpe estate (near Attleborough in Norfolk). I wouldn't normally pay for a day on pigeons myself but there you go.

    I had a bad time of it, really. I was set up by 8am on maize. The pigeons weren't coming so i sent the keeper a text at 10.30 to see if i could move elsewhere. It took him an hour or more to text back. He said he would take me to a different spot, but not till 12.30 as he had to pop to see the dentist!!! The bag by 12.30 was 7. Four and a half hours for SEVEN pigeons.Normally i would have packed up and gone home.

    I then went to a rape field where the shooting improved. I finished with 33 pigeons but i wasn't too impressed with the service. I wouldn't go back......

     

    Was this norfolkgame on ebay, tony the keeper he only wants your money and dont give a toss if you dont shoot anything. can be nasty if you want to move. Wont be going there again.
