Got 07 plate new shape L200 Animal and now have 105k on the clock, head gasket went @ 87k
but was still covered by 100k 3yr warranty 
none of the other two offer that warranty. would I get another?? You bet.... -

I've had my 07 plate Animal from new, it's now done 97k a lot of those miles have been done towing a large trailer.
The head gasket went @ 85k with three weeks left on the warranty
it was off the road for 2wks??. Apart from that not missed a beat 
.Due for a new one very soon, would I get another?? Don't know do fancy a change. Would I reccomend the L200??? You bet!!!!!

The head gasket went on my 07 Mitsubishi Animal L200 with 84k on the clock. The 3 yr warranty runs out in 2wks.The dealer said it was the 3rd L200 head gasket in a couple of weeks,and the others had no warranty left and looking @ a bill of £500+.WHAT!!!! Anyone else hear of this problem on new model???

dont go for l200 i have one for work has poor turning circle drinks fuel as if were free only good point is that it is comfy to drive.
You must be talking about the older model l200. I have a new 07 model for work, and it really is the business both on and off the road. The turning circle is now the best in it's class and is also great on fuel even when towing. :blink:

My old neighbour moved away last summer, to a small holding about half an hour from me.
They were great people but hated the fact that I went shooting ,and always said how could I murder those cuddly little rabbits.
Had a phone call from them on Tuesday asking if I could do something about the ruddy rabbits that have eaten everything they have planted!!!!!!!!!
Went down last night ,hundreds of rabbits running around.The Ruger 10/22 is going to be busy.

Don't worry about the MPG, as being a Landrover most of it's time will be spent in the garage with the bonnet up.
