Hello,
It's fathers day coming up and I thought it'll be a good idea to get my dad a Webley Senior air pistol (his first gun that he had when a teenager).
So ideally I would like one in good condition, with its original box (if possible).
I'm on a limited budget, but will be willing to save a little extra for one in good condition.
Many thanks

hi,i have basc, guns, ammo and im near you, rugby actually.
if you still need a hand mate gve me a shout.
cheers.
-
had both.
the aa s 410 is far better as the r10 only indexes the magazine when you pull the trigger back fully.
if you dont you re-gas it but it will not have loaded the next pellet so you fire just air.
a ****** when you have a bunny in the sights.
s410 cocking bolt maybe a bit stiff when new but it frees off in time.

leica geovids,ive got a pair,cant fault them.

thanks guys.
i go shooting most days and my dogs always with me,being quiet is essential.
so i guess im on a good thing with him not barking,he does wimper a lot when he's exited though.
the neighbours say they never hear him at all.
so if he ever does bark at someone i guess they will invetigate.
thanks for your comments.

well ive had him 7 months.
he is 17 months old, retrieves, walks off lead and obeys all my commands.
everyone comments on his good nature with kids etc.
ive heard him woof 3 times in 7 months.
once at some cows
once at my chainsaw
once at another dog.
it would be nice if he did the odd woof when a stranger comes in the garden (he is in his run in the day).
should i encourage barking or just be glad of the quiet ?
cheers.

clay ground cage the dog inn the boot of your car and park up some distance from the shooting if it shows no distressing signs then move a bit closer nextime you go
thats what i did, then walked him in etc. etc.
he's in the hide when i shoot now, fine.
took about a month though.

I have put a couple of blank firing alarm trips out, Does anyone know if i need to put up signs saying they are present on the land  or is it a case of should not be there anyway.
i have one on my garage door and one on a fishing line on the garage side door.
to wake me up if someones taking my bikes.
i'll take the consequences after.
my property,my stuff,my sweat and labour to buy them.
this country is going soft with h&s.
if im in a rush the fishing line gets me and gives you a good wake up.
so the question?
is it a blank? or a 50g sg
well...do you feel lucky punk?

i had a leica lrf 900,very good.
now i have geovids for stalkig etc.
buy cheap buy twice.

snap caps are used to protect the firing pins not the springs.
if the firing pin keeps bottoming out with no resistance it can snap.
or so im told.

Just wanted to let everyone know what first class service i got from the gun shop rugby and Barby sporting ground (what a top class venue, they have a full bar and restaurant!) Thanks to Martin in the shop and Gordon at the ground! I went to try some guns for fit and ended up with a one to one lesson! Walked away with a gun costing twice my budget!
Recommend anyone within an hour or 2 of rugby (easy to get to from M6) goes and gives it a try open Wednesday and Saturday for shooting at the moment but undergoing upgrades for more more opening days and open till late in the summer evenings (if only i lived closer!)
i help out in the shop and at the ground, they are some great guys,no ********,just genuine shooting advice.
