I know I dont post much etc but as in real life I like to stay in the background.
Any way I have a fox problem...Its eating my chickens 5 so far and eaten my ducks 4.
Does any one have a trap I could borrow or know of anywhere in Oxfordshire I could buy some snares?
my field is next to houses so shooting it is a problem.
cheers
Mike

so you are indeed, just another idiot with a gun....
Not an idiot with a gun, I responsibly but the dying animal out of its misery.
If anything I am an idiot with a dog but I had just got that dog from a rescue home
and so did not know the dog had hyper killing instinct!
I hope you enjoyed ripping into people you think you are superior too.

I've been thinking about this for a while Im still living with the parents and I only have a SGC but would a moderated .410 be quiet enough from a blank point range they've taken 4 or 5 chickens 2 of our ducks and a turkey on all different situations I no theres a few around my area as there is in most but I see at least 2 or 3 every week with out fail either in the garden or just walking down the road late at night any advice on this? With out turning into Rambo like PigeonEater
more than enough honestly you would be suprised, my dog once grabbed a muntjac and had wounded it a fair bit, I was out with the .410 at the time and decided to finish it with it, It blew a hole through its head and muntjac are sturdy animals

£150 what you been smoking LOL

Hi, I live in Newmarket. The vast majority of my shooting is around Cambridge where I'm fortunate enough to shoot for a large farming company which has 1000's acres. I do have some contacts on the Higham Estate, but don't shoot pigeons around here. I do shoot bunnies on a few of the studs though.
They shoot alot of pheasants, like 1000 bird days
-
thanks!!! helped alot
-
Shoot it, I dont think its right that an animal is blind like that, in the real wilds it would be killed by predators and we are the predators. If it is running into trees then it is not fair on it.

yeh, but there are so expensive
where to set up my hide
