LOL Did'nt mean to upset anyone, all i meant was when shooting near to where the public might be walkers,hikers,horse riders etc just try to be whiter than white. Alot of people disagree with what we do. Don't think PW will be inviting me to x mas knee's up lol. dare'nt post any thing now, feel like an outcast already lol.

Don't be so small minded and take your blinkers off. Some times a footpath or houses can be near to where we shoot.when a walker or member of public hears the gun shot they can be very vague when they ring the police. All the police would do is to ring me on my mobile and ask if i was shooting in the vacinity, problem solved. If we do all we can to stop busy body's and anti's having an excuse to cause us problems. Battle won.

It only takes 2 minutes to ring your local ploice authority and give your details (name,address and mobile number)and let them know when and where you intend to go shooting. The police officer commented by saying ` we wish all shotgun/rifle users did this' which they are right. It greatly reduces the risk of the armed response and the chopper been called in and being led away in handcuffs, it happens.
