My oldest son Alex beat me at the local clayshoot last weekend by 1 clay.
'The Apprentice has become the master' was all I could hear as we left the
ground to go home.
I was well chuffed for him.
Its good to know that later in life when they grow up & leave home
that there will always be something we can do together.
Proud Father
couldnt of put it better myself mate, if this isnt the best way of bonding i dont know what is. its summet they and we will always remember and they will show their own kids this in the future
-
weldone mate, the educating is the important part. the rest is natural instinct, respecting the land and whats vermin whats game etc will only contribute to the person they will become in the future
-
Excellent
haha she already has the instinct so wont be long before shes hunting with her daddy, weldone mate
Well done Guys for bringing your kids up and not letting them bring themselves up. like so may do.
My Twin Girls will be four years old in less than a week. To tell you the truth they are quite Girly Girls at the moment (mat change) But they too love being outside. We grow Veg and keep chickens. Both Girls love learning all about about. We have been teaching them out were our food comes from. They know that we eat chickens. But not ours as they are pets. They know that we sometimes eat rabbit. But at there is are differences between the rabbit that we eat and the pet rabbits that some of there friends have.
They have seen photos on here and asked "whys that's bird dead daddy" They have been told that Pigeons are a pest and that they can do a lot of damage to the food that the farmers grow, There numbers have to be controlled so some people shoot them to keep there numbers down. But Wood pigeons are lovely birds and that means that they need to be treated with lots of respect. They have also been told that some of the shooters will take the pigeons home and cook and eat them, (Not told them that we have two in the freezer, that we picked up from the farmers market in town the other week)
Anyway well done Guys keep up the good work

My Boy.....
and what a boy he is...
well chuffed he wants to shoot, Fish , camp and cook and all this off his own back.
I don't tell him to do it, its he's choice.
better than spending all day on the PS3 or X box.
Clean fresh air, (well Air yes) and learns all about weapons, safety and shelter building in a day.
well done son.
That's my Boy & I'm well chuffed.
Thats spot on mate hes goin to be a well educated young man, its important for the kids of today to start this sort of hoby it lets them know the wrongs and rights and learning to do things their own way! I have two young boys 3 and 4 and i will give them this option but as you say its their choice so i respect their choice when it comes, slso have a baby on the way in dec so might have a little girl to show the ropes too great pic aswell lee your lad looks the part pal
-
my girls will be kick as s daughters they have already killed at four years old
Thats brilliant
-
That's why I want a son
that would help but i guess a father daughter combo would work

Forget the range fella,i want proper answers!!
Seeing as there are some top class totty that no one has noticed in the top right hand of the picture and you are ignoring them for a wabbit, you are either into poofing or not a Welsh Boyo.Which one?
hmmmmmmm why dont ya pop down and il hook you up with one of your choice!
You can Google earth it and then use the tool bar at top which has a ruler and mark point to point and it will tell you in feet, yards etc etc...
I use it for my land to give me all the lay out needed to know and takes the guess work out of range finding...
if you don't have a range finder of course.
lee.
thanks lee i have a range finder il pop and check the distance this weekend mate
about 5 inches.
I want that mud patch. It has a certain je ne sais quoi :yp: :yp:

i have permission and have dropped you a P.M
i shoot with jamie adams with the permission of kelvin and lloyd
Everybody, I'd like to clarify that I do have permission to shoot on this land - vermin only. NOT game! I would never cross on land that I do not have permission for, I feel as though I need to explain myself due to the way Phil wrote his comment. Although I have been writing to Paul and he has understood clearly and replied fairly. Thankyou.
143 yards and you can keep the bunny
I don't think it would be looking to healthy now, but you're more than welcome to it mate...
