    Ok!

As you will remember the vegan idiot whinged enough that the rest of the group agreed not to kill and eat the poor little piggy.

Hungry and irritable, half the group watched in disbelief as the vegan made a lead out of some rope and took the pig for a walk down the beach. After bonding with the animal, feeding it and giving it a name he decided to keep it as a pet.

Some time later the vegan noticed the pig (which he had left tied up in the shade of some palm trees) wasn’t moving. He ran over to investigate... the pig had strangled itself with the noose the vegan left around its neck!

In a final show of snowflake veganism the tearful vegan idiot convinced the still hungry islanders not to eat the animal and instead they gave him a burial at sea by floating him off the beach on a raft!

You couldn’t have written it any better!

Don’t think he is a vegan mate.

although he did say he “doesn’t want to kill any animals”............but that the camp can “live on fish” I can’t believe the amount of people who don’t seem to realise that fish are living animals aswell.

bit of a weird outlook I think.

    whats the difference?

  2. Where in Cornwall are you? I’m Liskeard and a member of taw and torridge in north devon. It’s a bit of a trek but worth it I think.

there is cownwall wildfowlers which I believe shoots the camel.

and there’s tamar wildfowling club, but not sure what ground they have.

as has been said. Speak to James at BASC SW, he will point you in the right direction.

Tend not to get such a great deal of crossover between disciplines though do we. I'd certainly fancy my chances wrt fly fishing, but put me on a beach or carp pond and I wouldn't have the foggiest. Probably a better idea having individual comps for each different discipline and people can pick and choose which they attend

    +1
  4. How about sleevimg the pipe in alcathene marked with oil tape to identify it. Then silicone the ends up so stop it filling with water if your worried about it.cover the pipe with pea gravel or sand so that if it's dug up people will see the sand/gravel before the pipe

  5. I come away from the marsh just as happy if I don't get a shot as when I do, just being there is enough for me. Watching the marsh and surroundings wake on a frosty morning, or braving the harsh elements of a late evening.

Watching my dog look to me for direction on a retrieve, seeing all the hard work and training pay off.

In my first 3 seasons as a wildfowler, I didn't even fire a shot, but still I was completely taken by it.

Having to learn about your quarry has always been of interest to me, identifying birds that a lot of people don't have a clue about("it's a duck").

    The history of it too!

There are a few of the reasons that get me up at 3am when it's sideways rain and blowing a hooley.😀

  6. Swap - 20g for wife.

My wife used to shoot a Franchi Veloce 20g. Now shoots a Beretta Silver Pigeon S 12g with 28" barrels. It's a game gun so fairly light but cheap to feed and she finds it as easy to shoot as the Franchi.

😂 Ha, I must be tired!! Didn't see that at all.

Defiantly gonna have to get her to try a few different guns I think.

Really chuffed she is showing an interest though!
