Always worth checking your route just in case :-)

  5. Shot there on saturday for the 1st time.

Good layout with some nice targets, the wind made it very interesting.

They didnt have a claymate system but the owner did say this or next week they are getting one installed.

Very nicely priced at £20 per 100 clays.

Will go again if in that neck of the woods.

roundabout at addingham head towards silsden then 1st right soon as you come off roundabout it will then signposted from there.

we started a few small shoots last year as a trial run,had really good feedback from all types of shooters so have decided this year to run a couple of competitions for evry1 to enjoy and have a chance of winning something.

    Thanks for the interest.

  7. Thought this was a good shoot.

    Great targets nothing daft.

The weather made it very tough and hard to concentrate when its blowing a gale and chucking it down, although mr Swire didnt have a problem 96 ex 100 is excellent shooting in those conditions.

Managed a 86 myself which was happy with.

Thought the ground had made a real effort to get the targets high up using lots of machinery.

Thankyou to all at Bywell for all the effort put in its much apreciated to have a registerd shoot up north.

Entry fee was a bit pricey but they had a high payout.

  8. Yes next 50 sporting this saturday 4th October.

May be our last shoot for this year just depends on weather this month.

  11. Hi there thank you for your comments.

All I was trying to get across is there aren't enough good shoots up north that put on competition targets with out having to travel 2 hours so this is my solution to it.

No disrespect was meant to any other ground or shoot.

I too agree with what you are getting at and totally agree with a good shoot being one where everybody goes away happy, I hope that people will do that after trying our shoot.

Our aim is to have targets for everyone from your fun shooter to the more serious competition shooter, which is tough over a 50 bird course but am up for the challenge.

With being a new shoot we appreciate any feedback good or bad.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

  12. Hi all.

Just to let you know there will be a new clay shoot running in May to October every other Saturday 11-2 Addingham, west Yorkshire.

It will be 50 bird sporting 5 or 6 stands.

I have been shooting clays now for some years and have noticed the lack of GOOD shoots here up North.

Well here is my contribution, the targets will be something for every1 with some tasty targets for you competition Shooters as well.

All thrown from automatic promatic traps to include- Standards, Midis, Loopers and Rabbits.

Currently in the process of getting it ready for our first shoot in May.

Dates and address will be posted on here nearer the time.

Web page and Facebook page will be available soon.

Thanks for looking we look forward to seeing you all and any feedback will be much appreciated.

    Best regards.

    Addingham Sporting Clays.
