  1. I'm selling my custom S4*0 stock to finance a Lathe

This stock was made by Jon from Kibworth Club

I'm sorry but I've never asked for his surname and haven't shot any of the comps this year so I couldn't ask him either

The stock has single post adjustable hamster and cheek piece

The hamster post doubles as the stock retaining screw and is tightened with a 12mm spanner

The stock has swivel studs fitted and there is a repair to where I had to move the front stud to allow for better fitting of a bipod

This is a true one off custom stock

You will not find another like it and I'm including a Rowan single shot adapter in the deal as I have no further use for it as I'm returning the S410 into it's original stock for hunting feather

    £240 + P&P

  3. I would like something a little more powerful because I like long distance shots but do agree that it should not be possible for any idiot to have a high powered air rifle.

Licensing isn't a popular option but I personally don't have a problem with it.

I enjoy my sport and a bit of pest control but reading about idiots shooting at cat etc. makes me wonder if licensing may not be a step in the right direction.

  4. have to agree with twistedsanity (sorry Bruno )

the Daystate Airwolf walks all over the s410 , how anyone can compare the s410 to the Airwolf CDT is IMO not thinking straight or is a Daystate hater and there are many on here,

I own both the above rifles and the s410 is a cracking rifle but just for those that think the s410 is faultless well they are not, the magazine on mine had cracks starting to appear in it so I bought a new mag and guess what the same thing happened

The CDT airwolf is very very accurate also and as twisted said they will certainly put pellet on pellet out to 40yrds in the right conditions,

people have said they prefer the CDT due to the better power settings but mine has been used on full power all the time,

I really suppose its if you want to spend your hard earned cash on an Airwolf CDT, they truelly are a fantastic rifle , so is the s410 but build quality on the s410 is no where near the Airwolf quality,

    its like comparing a rolls Royce(Airwolf) with a robin reliant(s410) ,

if you want quality then buy the Airwolf mate, they sell from £700 to £899 and are hard to come by, Blackpool rifles just sold one for £895 in Excellent condition , The s410 is an excellent rifle but as I said it feels cheap, the cocking is no where near as smooth as the daystate and the feel is nothing like the daystate,

try them both and see just what I mean about quality and feel , and performance wise well I,m not even going there but I know which rifle I pick to take out hunting and its not built by Air Arms

    hope this helps

I have both , the 410 and the airwolf

I like the Airwolf but if it comes down to it the 410 will be staying

The AW is good but not better than the 410 and I understand the point about the difference in cocking the guns but in the end any problem with the 410 I can sort with minimal tool inside my shed

Anything goes wrong with the electronics on the AW I will face a big bill from daystate

It's like my dad says "If you can't fix it with a hammer you have an electrical problem"

  5. Background: I have sold my HW77k to buy a PCP. I have always liked the look and feel of the AirArms S300 / 400, and I don't mind the look of the BSA Hornet.

I had these in my shopping list to look at, and got the funds last week.

BUT, in stepped Dad. He has Multiple Myloma and is in third stage ( last ). 12 months ago, he bought a BSA Ultra multishot .177, as throughout his life he had had shotguns, rifles and air, and wanted to still retain a gun, albeit to plink tins in the garden. He bought it new, with a scope but no pump, thinking he would buy a bottle. He has now got to the point of no return and has admitted he won't use it and will sell it to me. Basically, he bought it, and was told to store it full. Because he didn't have air, he has locked it away and never fired it. The scope is still boxed, as is everything else. It is a new gun, at family rates. Great I hear you cry, but I don't much like it. It is too short for my liking!!!

What do you guys think? I have approached the selling dealer, who really don't want to know.

I'm a 6 foot 17 stoner and I know exactly what you mean

If the price is right why not, otherwise I'd have a look at the second hand market to see what I can sell it on or swap for

  6. I got a freelander commercial with 103000 on the clock and a full service record from the national grid

I was on my missus insurance for 12 years as a named driver and when it came to having a 4x4 for work i was staring down the gun looking at insurance costs. :sad1:

All the other commercial 4x4 versions were just unaffordable in price, insurance and running costs

OK, there are many dodgy freelanders out there but if you know what you are looking at, have a bit of mechanical knowledge and aren't scared to do most of the work yourselve i don't see why you shouldn't buy one providing the right car comes along.

I believe i did find the right car.

  7. A Licence is,nt going to stop all the idiots getting there hands on a gun though, Thats the problem, If they want a gun i,m sure they,ll get one from somewhere

True, but you would be able to hold your hands up and tell all those idiots that you have a licence.

Can't be more difficult than getting a shotgun licence.

I'm not going to lobby for a licence here in England but if they wanna introduce one then so be it.

    I got nothing to hide.
