Evening Gents,
Discovered i have a big issue with rats that have buried themselves underneath my chicken coup, Have atleast 4 entry tunnels dug and filling them in with hardcore and dirt just results in another one appearing.
Dont exactly use my air rifle much so was curious about how to tackle this, need to be shot at night when they come out and dont have silly night vision gear. Is it possible to lamp rats without spooking them?
There is no need for baiting as i can see them in the coup at night picking up pellets and corn.
Best way to tackle this with the cheapest methods?
Got rat traps out already but cant poision them due to the poultry
Cheers in advance

Its an Iconic place just a pity its run the way it is. Looking down the noses at an extremely large percentage of rifle shooters, not doing themselves any favours at all.
The few times I have been memories of my grandfather kept popping into my head, (he was a rifle man in the Sherwood Foresters)while in the butts marking, just looking around he was there.
Its historic, I just hope it doesn't get flattened and built on.
I find this is hugely true, Bisely is my local ground and still im getting used to the snobbery up there. Even on the skeet range people look at you funny when you only pull out an old browning. Still hitting more than them though

Well i am going down on the train to collect it on the 17th so if i dont run off the road on the way home i will mosts defo have it stuck on the 18th lol, got my grand vitara (the green gilbert ) on the bay.If it dosnt sell i might keep that on one of the farms as its too good to give away as just has 5 brand new turbo rangers fitted(£400) and its solid as all the sills replaced & brake lines done and a new front cat at £260.Only wanting £650 but on the bay for £500 start with no reserve.
What years it mate?

Id say about 15ah
Unless you have a Pinewood magnet.
No the magnet came from A1, is 15AH going to be enough?
Also if i decide to just ran the magnet will it damage it having a bigger battery? Or is it only the voltage that will affect that?

Afternoon Gents!
I was curious about running my magnet and 2 flappers off the same battery, i have enough cable to run between them and will save me carrying separate ones about and remembering to charge them all. What sort of size do you think id need to achieve 5 hours run time with the 3 machines running and 10M of cable to each? Flappers would be on timers so wont be going all the time.
Cheers

Bottom one first, not for any reason at all just the way I've always done it! I'm sure the difference in recoil between is asolutley minimal

Theres plenty of clubhouses up there for rent but no idea who you contact, i believe the NRA and BCSA owns a couple.

Welcome to PW.....they carry on hurting you...I'm 45 and still got a CRF 450 in the garage but it only comes out when it's dry now. The older you get the less you bounce when you come off
Yeah I've found the knees don't take it aswell after you've done them already aha
