  5. How do I renew my licences?

    Hi

     

    Seems like a dumb question but my first shotgun and firearms licences expire in October.

     

    Will I receive a renewal notice or do I have to pro-actively complete new forms?

     

    As an aside on my Firearms licence I have a FAC air rifle listed however this is long ago sold and not yet replaced, what should I do to allow me to replace it in the future?

     

    Sorry, I KNOW this all sounds dumb but as I said this is my first renewal.

    Okay, they are �315 new from the Saddlery and Gunroom (although I paid more to buy from my local gunshop) and there about �50 worth of cartridges going with the gun.

     

    What do you reckon, �270 all in?

     

    I would add that I have now calculated that it has fired 2 shots only - it's not even run in (apparently you need atleast 100 shots through these to "run in" the silencing properties).

     

    Still looking for that MK1 Cortina though - and would consider a part ex for an interesting gun; a pump action perhaps.

     

    Still interested but I REALLY need to know the full length of the gun.

    Strange question I know but I will ask anyway.

     

    How 'deep' is the gun when folded?

     

    I am pretty sure these guns are far too tall for my gun safe but I was wondering if it would fit in when folded?

    The above is now for sale having served the use for which it was bought!/

    The gun was new only a few months ago and has fired less than 100 cartridges and is as new.

    400 or so Eley Subsonics come with it (32g 6's & 28g 7 1/2's)

     

    £250 may trade english side by side (cash either way) WHY

    Can you tell me exactly how long this gun is please from tip to toe.

     

    My gun cabinet has a lockbox in top and therefore cannot take anthing over about 48 inches I think it is.

    I have a 12g Remington 1100 I am due to Part Exchange for £325.

     

    It is an oldish gun, converted by Saddelry & Gunroom before I bought it.

     

    I have only put around 200 cartridges through it since I purchased.

     

    I have hi definition pictures available if you are interested.

    I would also be interested in your gun as a purchase rather than a swap.

     

    Although I DO have a Hushpower 12G Remington 1100 but I am Part Exchanging this for a S/S.

     

    How much and do you have any pictures?

    PS Also can you tell me how long the gun is (would need to check it fits my safe), and choke please.

     

    Any one interested in doing a swap,My .410 Webley and Scott bolt action was converted 18 months ago by hushpower.

    I have not used it very much.

    A 12g Hushpower would be more usefull to me now.

    hi,

     

    if you still need a hammer gun, ive got a german (geco) 12g double hammergun side-by-side

     

    the barrels are slightly pitted but i shoot 24gram loads through it

     

    its probably from the 1920's but it still shoots ok

    You still got that silenced pump gun? Is the barrel interchangable?

     

    I was looking at the Saddlery & Gun room Mossberg 12g pump - they offer it as a kit - one silenced barrel and one normal.

     

    Could a "normal" barrel be obtained for your pump gun?

     

    I have a brand new single barrel .410 hushpower if you are interested - very very quiet.

    Yes I still have it, couple of people showing interest but no firm takers yet.

     

    The barrel is interchangeable although I don't have a normal barrel BUT Saddelry & Gunroom do have one available for £60.

     

    What mechanism is your .410 based on, I have found some of the guns are very flimsy, or at least that is how they feel to me.

     

    I bought the Remington, even though its an old gun because it felt som much more solid than the Mossbergs.
