  1. +1 for Becks Blue, I'm a shift worker and nice to have a fake beer at a BBQ before work. I love a good drink, pretty much anything from ales, cider to wine and whiskey and the Becks Blue cut it if you can't drink alcohol for whatever reason.

  2. Cheers for the replies, I'll try a change of cartridge. I don't think it's the ejectors as the cartridges are lovely and loose when put in the gun, when fired they are noticeably tight to take out and put back in.

Aga man, interesting your friend has also had an issue.

  3. Recently picked up a lanber field 20 for my missus, she loves the fit and weight of it however on the first outing the used cartridges are sticking.

The cartridges are Hull pro 20 24g 67mm, she wanted 21g but the shop didn't have any in stock.

It seems to me that when you load the gun the cartridges drop in nicely, once fired they seem to swell. I removed used cartridges and then put them back in and they are a tight fit. Is this a chamber length issue? The ejectors are trying but the cartridge only comes out half way.

    I think the 21g are 65mm.

  4. As the topic says, anyone have an old butt pad for a Miroku 3800? The gun I have currently has no butt pad and a 13 1/2 lop which is a bit short.

Thought I'd try on here before buying one that needs grinding.

    Thanks.

  5. Hi all, I go shooting clays with my dad and we have had some instruction in the past. He has been told he would be better off using a shotgun with a monte carlo stock due to his build. He uses a miroku mk60 with monte carlo stock that is a club gun and gets on with it well.

I have found a Miroku 3800 with Monte Carlo stock for sale locally that I am thinking of buying (dad has no licence). I would have this as a second gun but let my dad use it when we go to grounds with s11 permission.

Does anyone have any experience with this gun?

It's got 30" barrels , 1/4 and 1/2 choked for a touch under £500. I have emailed the seller to check if it's a sporter or trap.

I don't want to break the bank on getting the old man a gun to use but don't want to be ripped off either. (He's not in a position to get his SGC due to his other half)

Gun hire adds a lot to the day and I'd like to go to other grounds with him that don't hire out guns. Thanks for reading.

  6. Morning all from foggy east Dorset.

I have been shooting a couple of times a year for a few years with friends and have finally got my licence. I'm going to try and go more often and get some lessons at some point.

I've already got a lot from these forums and the banter seems good.

Just picked up a lanber sporter with 30" barrels as my first gun and took her for a bash to Ower on the 27th. Great fun.
