  1. Well to be fair I still have both of the Berettas. Felt bad trying to sell them so marked them as sold. The Franchi was bought for spares though. Im sure Im not the only one who occasionally wins something at auction at well below market valve, or at much less than the expected sale price, takes it home, try’s it out and it doesn’t fit or is not what there really after and moves it on? And do you really want to put that it was acquired from the auction for nothing so I’m selling it for nothing? Even though the auctions can offer some quality items I believe they are too quick to let the item go ‘ for nothing’ just to get there commission, I know it’s up to the seller to put a reserve, usually at a cost, but I do feel the auctions do let some sellers down though. opinions invited please? best wishes all. Chopper😎👍
  2. Incorrect I’m afraid. The gun was bought at auction yes. It was in a poor state. The action frame was used to replace the action frame on the gun shown as the current one cracked. It’s aluminium not steel!! It broke when the bolt holding the stock to the gun was overtightened by the gunsmith during a service. The original correct serial number is on the barrel. As I’m sure many do especially with semi autos, if it needs a spare part it’s sometimes easier to buy the same gun and use it for spares than it is trying to source the new part. It’s now sold and the new owner has been made aware of the action replacement and is ok with this. Well spotted though guys!!👍👍
  3. Now Sold👍 many thanks for all the enquiries. 😎
  4. I’m sure most members have more than 1 gun. I have several shotguns and a couple of rifles. I do most types of shooting but mostly game shooting, duck shooting and pigeon and crow decoying using the usual 12 and 20 gauge however, The gun that makes me smile the most is my single 410 Pedretti Hushpower. I’ve modified it and using the right cartridge it sounds like a Hamster sneezing!! it’s great on the rats around the stables and grain store. I also use it roost shooting in a small copse on my farm. It’s very capable and I’ve brought down some good distant crows and pigeons drifting in over the copse. There’s a house about 100 meters from the copse. A friend lives there and as I leave the copse and walk past his house he usually says he didn’t hear any shots!, It’s absolutely awesome. If you haven’t got one in your cabinet, Get one!!!! (Oh and Eley Fourlongs are the quietest.) 😎👍 ATB Chop
  5. Franchi Raptor 20 bore 3 shot in good condition. It’s nice and light and has the reversible thingy so it will cycle nice and light 21 gram clay loads right up to the 36 gram 3” loads. 28” barrel multi choke with 3 chokes and a key. Comes with 300 quality game cartridges, mostly fibre wad. if collected from Lincoln or Boston or Can RFD transfer just the gun. This was my lads gun and he’s moved up to a 12 bore. I bought it new around 12 years ago. It’s not done a lot. £275 for just the gun or £340 for gun and cartridges. will hold for the first member to say they will take it. It’s a nice gun!
  6. Now Sold. Many thanks for all the interest.👍
  7. Yes had a few hanging around. Having to thin down to 2 or 3 as moving soon and trying to get down to one cabinet.😎👍
  8. Cheers Scully. I’m sad to sell but it needs to go. Best Wishes. Chop😎👍
  9. Beretta A303 semi auto 3 shot. 27,1/2” barrel, multi choke and ‘ ported’ barrel. Comes with 3 chokes and the key. The gun is ‘As New’ and it’s only been test fired with 6 shots and been in the cabinet since. The action is un marked and only a couple of small cabinet marks on the stock. You won’t find another in this condition. Can RFD transfer for £30 at my end. Or collection from Lincoln or Boston. Will hold for the first one to say they will take it. Selling as need to thin out as trying to get down to 1 cabinet. More pictures by email if required. Bring back some pigeon shooting memories with this. These don’t come up that often and usually go for much more. Grab a bargain😎👍 £420
  10. Now SOLD. Many thanks for all the enquiries 😎👍
  11. Forgot to add, they are both 12 bores and I will hold them for the 1st member that says they will take them.😎👍 Oh and thanks Gordon. Sad to let them go but downsizing a bit.😢
  12. 2x Winchester SX2 semi auto. 28” multi choke in great condition. I’ve owned the top one since new and it’s in great condition. It’s only had about a slab through it. The second gun has had more use. It fires and ejects but won’t bring the second cartridge up. The Lifter dog clip is broken and spring missing. An easy fix. Both guns are 3” and Multichoke. There are only 2 chokes with both guns but the Invector chokes are easy to acquire. I’m having a clear out as moving soon so trying to get down to one cabinet. Both guns come with around 1100 ‘Heavy’ cartridges, mostly lead shot, 70mm but some 76mm and some steel and some bismuth. I’m looking to sell as a job lot so collection only from Lincoln or Boston. grab a Bargain at £575.00
  13. A nice light weight Beretta 20 bore A303 3 shot semi auto. Multi choke with 3 chokes 26” barrel, 14” stock and in good condition. Not many of these around in 20 bore. Great lightweight walk around gun. Cycles fine. Comes with a slab of 20 bore game cartridges if collected from Lincoln or Boston. Can RFD transfer at agreed cost. Selling as need some space in the cabinet. £350 for the gun and cartridges or £295 for just the gun
