Hi all, I have just joined the group in the hope that someone may be able to ID a bullet that I found in the garden here in East Sussex. It looks to me as if it has made a glancing hit on something. The bullet has a flattened section near the tip and also a scrapped area at the tail end made as it traveled past something i guess. It is also slightly bent out of shape accordingly. These flattened areas also look as if them may have picked up some black partials as it slide passed. I am really wondering if this could have been fired by an aircraft in WW2 and then bounced off another. Please find attached 2 photos of the said bullet. This is my first atempt at this so hopefuly the pictures will appear. Regards Dave
