Hi guys after some advice on raising the comb on my 452 TH, as most owners are probably aware the rifle has a straight comb stock. this is giving me problems in that i cannot seem to get a consistent cheek weld and have to sort of 'hover' and we all know how bad that is.
Im using an MTC mamba 3-12x44 with their supplied mounts. Was considering replacing the mounts for some medium Sportsmatch items which appear to be a few mm lower (TO35C). Not sure if this is still going to allow clearance of the bolt handle tho. Even if they worked I still think I would need the comb higher for consistent eye alignment. .
Is there any sort of comb raiser that you guys would recommend on this rifle? Have been looking at the Beartooth raisers.
I know there is always the option of gaffa taping some foam on there but would like it to look half decent
