I've done a bit of research on these, but - I know they come in 2 parts - 1 part hard wired (receiver / controller) 1 part wireless (placed where you want it) Now most info that I have found has been for new installs so the hard wired part goes near / next to the boiler. I want to replace the room stat as it is currently near a radiator so it reaches temp way before the rest of the house. Currently I just set it at a higher temp, but would like more control of the heat. So can I replace my current room stat with the hard wired part of a wireless version and then site the wireless part where I want it ? Many thanks for any help or pointers. ATB
