    Iv recently picked up a very tidy, little used fox mod 2 in .22 hornet. It's dated ''83! Iv noticed the barrel touches the woodwork it's impossible to slide paper between them. Should it be free floating? If I went ahead and stripped it, to inspect the barrel channel. Is there anything to be aware of? Because it's quite on old gun there is not much info outthere in web land. If I removed the the retaining screws does the mag housing/trigger and the action separate? I can't see any other way for it to come out. Cheers gents.
