Hello everyone,
A group of three friends and I head North to Scotland in search of geese once a year. Due to the long distance this year we're considering heading East to Norfolk or the wash. We are a little concerned that, unlike Scotland where there are very few people, in the South there will be a greater population density and we'll fall fowl (pun intended) of the local trespass and fowling laws.
Can anyone give me some pointers as to where might be good to go? And if there are any clubs or associations that we need to contact to seek advice from etc etc. Ideally we'd just turn up to the coast and shoot fowl there, but I'm expecting it not to be that easy. We are prepared to pay for a guide if need be, but would prefer not to for obvious reasons.
Also, for the morning flights, do you know of any farmers who like fowlers to go and shoot geese on their land for them?
Many thanks in anticipation!
