  1. The shoot on Saturday 22/07/17 was only attended by 16 paying guns. Many regulars were missing but there were a few new faces to welcome. There were many positive comments about the shoot layout/targets, despite the weather. Talking to the guns at Park Street on Sunday, a number said they intended to come to the next shoot at Redbournbury. £16 for a 60 bird Sporting Clay shoot. £12 for a second round. SGC required. Fibre wad cartridges only, max shot size 7. Rio 28g 8s are available for £4:50 / box of 25. Shoot starts at 12:30, currently last ticket is 16:00. There are 6 Stands offering a variety of targets, using Standard, Midi, Rabbit and Battue clays and shaped by the features of the scenic ground. Tea and coffee on the ticket. Bacon rolls etc are available for purchase. Ample parking. WC. The sight is best approached from the Harpenden to St Albans Road (A1081) via Beesonend Lane. Follow the Brown Fishery and Black and White Shoot signs down the lane for 1 mile. At the ford turn right and continue along the lane to the site. The short length of ford to drive through is only inches deep. The fishermen that come to the site never have any problems. 13/14 days the site functions as a day ticket fishery for Trout (Lake 1 and R.Ver) and Mixed Coarse Fishery (Lake 2). Want to try fly fishing for trout or coarse fishing for carp, tench, chub, bream, perch, roach and rudd? Taster sessions can be arranged. See the newly updated Redbournbury Fishery and Sporting Clay website and our Facebook page.
