  1. A few weeks ago whilst pootling about I espied a sign in a freshly cut hedge, it said "Cartridges for Sale from £24.50 a box" Intrigued I ordered a cessation of process (ie pull over I want to look). Upon inspection I discovered an unknown retailer of weaponry (both powder burning and air), accessories and ammunition. Better still turns out he is an accredited Daystate service engineer. Woo hoo. Anyways going inside it crossed my mind I needed a couple of new scopes, one for her HW95 and one for my BSA Goldstar (it is an air rifle google if you do not believe Mole). So after a brief natter we ploughed through the Krank catalogue and lo, there was a nice BSA Essencial 3-9x40 AO mil dot, which he said would cost £31.50, so we paid in advance in full for two. A week later and the scopes were in, went to see them, no information on the outside, looked through and Duplex reticle. Sent back to Kranks who said "Oh we dont have any of the other ones!" So the proprietor offered to let us have to HK3070 (3-9 x 50 AO Mildot IR) at cost and these came with mounts too! OK then, let him order those and they arrived the day before yesterday. paid the balance owing and despite their being the size of Jodrell bank, they do look nice on the guns. The mounts they were supplied with even had recoil pins, so fitted well on the 95, did not fit on the Maxigrip rail of the Goldstar though, so back to the Sportsmatch for that gun. Cost £55 a pop, hell cant find them anywhere online for near that price so he has saved me a fortune in fuel and given me a whacking great discount as well He is also servicing the Mark 3 as it is time to replace the battery. £40 + parts for a full service and battery change. Heck can't say fairer than that so all paid up and awaiting Daystate to send the battery now! Sometimes what is on your doorstep maybe small, however it may also be perfectly formed and save you a bundle! He just does not advertise a lot, not even in the yellow pages!
