Hello there, I'm just in the process of applying for my shotgun ticket and have been a keen airgun, fishing and outdoor pursuits man for many years. I travelled to Orkney earlier this year for the geese and rabbits and will be going again in 2013 (if the company I went with and the funds allow it). Also have lined up some scottish shooting in the early part of January if various factions come together - looking at goose, duck and my first walk of Deerstalking. Could be a great week or so.... I've done driven pheasant, and decoyed for pigeon. I'm open to any shooting as long as the quarry is fair and the shooting is sporting. The only problem is, I shoot supervised at the moment and my ticket will be coming through soon. I always shoot with friends in Buckinghamshire, where I grew up (my dad was a keen shot until illness prevailed. he's just a fly fisherman now). I'm looking for someone local who can take me out when shifts allow and get me in on a syndicate/farm pest land/etc so that I can shoot when the opportunity arises. In case you're worried, I'm not a pillock. Any takers? Looking forward to getting on on the forums.
