  1. Hi, Although I love shooting on my own, sometimes it's better when you can share and chat about it too. Most of my close mates are simply not interested in the sport. My family is not what you'd call 'sporting' and I simply don't raise the topic with work colleagues! Last week I was decoying on some gone-brown peas. I shot about 30 in 3 hours, just with a simple plastic decoy pattern. I pulled off some brilliant shots (according to me, anyway), the stories of which bored the life out of my wife! So, who can save my wife!? My main discipline is pigeon decoying. I have a good patch of land just outside of York which produces very well at the right times of year. I keep meaning to expand this to neighboring farms but this hasn't happened yet. The stomach-twisting sting of rejection as a youngster has put me off door knocking... If you have some existing permission and find yourself in the same boat as me then please send me a message. A bit about me... I've spent the past few years building my design company from scratch, which is the best and worst of times! I'm 33 and held my certificate since 15. I have a shotgun and FAC Daystate air rifle (which is brilliant). And I can probably identify every british bird by silhouette alone! Anyway, let me know and we'll grab a pint. David.
