  1. well I set of to the chicken farm at 10:30 Wednesday night knowing I didn't need to be up for work the next day to have a couple of hours on the rats...but when I got there one of the farm hands that lives at the entrance to the farm was outside and said to me I think the fox is back the chickens are very unsettled...so I left the car there and walked down to the farm scanning with the night vision but to no avail...so I got myself sat at the edge of the fields that lead to the chicken sheds with the wind in my face and scanned for about 45 mins....then the night mater 800 picked up a set of big eyes shinning back like two torches about 150yrds away so I tried to squeak it in but it just sat there it wasn't having it...so I slowly made my way along the wall to the chicken sheds went in and got a chicken when I had another look foxy had made its way round the field going down wind and was sat about 100yrds away now....so I gave the chicken a gentle slap to get it clucking its head off...had a look and sure enough it was coming straight across the field full steam so I got myself steadied and when it was about 45yrds away I shouted and as it slammed on the brakes I sent a round to its engine room and down it went lights out...another chicken thief dealt with.....happy hunting lads
