  1. well its been a while since i have been on pw OR OUT SHOOTING well with the shot gun anyway i am working back shift and it has reallt mucked up shooting and with the game season now in full swing any time off has been spent picking up on shoots and out lamping foxes whitch has been a record year for me notching up number 50 a few weeks back at verminators69s shoot .but andyway thats another story .i got a call from a farmer to say his long awaited beens(long awaited by me that its) had been cut on friday but as i was picking up on friday and saturday i headed out this morning to have a look at the field to see if any pigeons were on the move the weather was perfect with a good strong wind and very over cast on arriving at the fields there were about 500 on the field and hundreds more in the trees . a quick drive round the fields to put the birds off reveiled there was a couple of thousand in the woods round the field after setting up the birds came quick and fast but as i hadnt had the shot gun out since july i was shooting like a diddy and after firing 25 shots only had 6 down then my mate gary turned up and we shared the hide for the rest of the day the bird never really decoyed well atall drifting 50 yards wide of the decoys so we decided to stand in the wood either side of the decoys and flight the birds as they passed and the shooting improved to a degree with some cracking birds downed and some sitters missed we finnished at 3.30 pm and picked 69 off the field and one jay whitch gary shot and 8 on the way out and lost 10 in woods surrounding us not a massive day but great to be back out
