Hi all,
Brief background,
I live in south wales
Been Shooting Airguns since the age of 18 am now 43, did stop from about the age of 21 to 35 to start a family its then i had to sell my trusty Webley Tracker .22 (i loved that gun)
You then realize how much you miss it, Now i have my 18 year old son involved too.
Since then we have been using a lovely 700 acre farm with my .22 Air Arms TX200 HC and my son uses a .22 SMK XS 19-18 (not the best you may say but with a few tweaks and a new spring it is a good bit of kit) mainly for Crow, Magpie and Grey Squirrel, and i have an appointment this week to see another shoot which is about 1000 acres.
Right this is where i could use some pointers,,,thanks in advance.
The Farm where i shoot now has a big fox problem as the do keep a lot of chickens(which they have lost a few lately) and i am looking to get my FAC, now i know some forces will not allow .17hmr for foxes, but for a first rifle i do not expect the force to grant me a .223 or does it not go on merit maybe I should invite the FEO around first for a cuppa and a chat and to see my current security as i use the same British standards locker bolted to an external wall for my Air rifles, not needed but i am very safety conscious, i know i need another separate safe which i have just not yet installed.
Thanks Again
Ade
