Gemini
They are actually crossed sceptres and that is the “Proof mark” The PSF is the Italian “Definitive” proof mark and there is sometimes another star with “Finito” on it for final proof. Two stars together show magnum proof. The 18.4 is the size of the bores in mm; 18.4 is the equivalent of .729 inches, and is the nominal size for a 12 gauge. 70= 70mm or 2¾ inch chambers. XX = ¾ choke XXXX = ¼ choke Are you sure it says 1,500 kg :( G.M. Edited September 15, 2005 by Gemini
freerangerdaz
Firstly thank's very much (G.M ) you are very infomative. The bottom barrel has got KG 1 . 500 The kg 1 looks like a one a 1 but it may be a L but i sure its a 1 The dash ( , ) may be a dot ( . ) Could KG1 one mean like a another proof mark ? and the 500 be some other meaning. Or dose it mean one thing. Many thank's ...

Gemini
I think that's the metric equivalent of 3¼ tons PSI. G.M.
