Mr_Logic
In the great search for a gun that fits my other half, the thought occurs that if I could remove the kick-off from a Urika 2 , then the stock length would be pretty close, looking at the pics etc. Pray tell, is this possible, and if so how difficult is it? Wouldn't it be simpler to buy a gun with a normal stock and get a gunsmith to shorten it so it fits her? The Kick-off system is a couple of hundred quid in it's own right, it shouldn't cost you that much for a proper fitting
Mr_Logic
Sportsman are talking new urika with kickoff for 950, so that's a pretty good price. The other option is where I'm likely headed otherwise.

Looking at mine though, there are no obvious fastenings so how it would come out I don't know. I also don't know whether the KO unit makes up some of the structural strength of the stock but if it does, the void could be filled with resin or similar (even expanding foam?!) Not much help really... Paul
