Got a problem with my crosman and i was wondering if any of you guys know how to fix it ?

Been fine since i got it (mid december) but i cocked it today and the barrel wont snap back into the firing position. It closes almost shut but i cant get it to close all the way

any help would be appreciated

If you look in between the barrel and the main body of the gun there is a piece of metal protruding in each, the ends of which are cut at an angle so they mate up when closed. Sorry for the vagueness I do not know the technical term for them...datent?

Anyway, if one has come loose and is out to far that would cause your prob as would dirt on them. Have a good look in that area see if anything is odd.

Also check the cocking arm is behaving normally-look for loose screws anywere near the barrel joint. hth.
