albob
if you have good reason for them, why not. do you have any experience of centrefires?,as this helps in a first time application or mentoring may come into play. as for the rifle you mention,i have no idea but, shot a .222,223 and a 22-250 and i`m biased against the .222.. al

albob
Well as you no i am freinds with SSS and we go out alot, He has just got a .222 so im sure i will learn a thing or two off him. But i dont really have much experiance, Im thinking of learning off them pair and seeing how it goes. my advice is get them to show you as much as they can and fire the guns, even on paper,as this will help a lot and i presume they will back you up on application,as the feo willl ring them to confirm what you have said. i know as i have been down that route and got centrefire without mentoring etc. it just makes the application that much easier. badger, prod and blackmail them(kidding about this,no i`m not,do it ) to get a chance to shoot. add the letter on application stating the experience and the more the better. al Edited May 17, 2010 by albob
