limestone_cowboy
SORTED SORTED SORTED Hey ho, I was thinking of taking my shotgun on holiday with me to France. I haven't got a bolted down cabinet in my caravan so it will probably be stored hidden away under a bed in a case rather than a gunslip. Do I need any additional paperwork to take the gun out of the country? I'm sure I recall my FAO telling me I need a gun "passport" but I've been to bed since speaking to him and I have forgetton. Any ideas? Regards LSC Edited June 28, 2010 by limestone_cowboy
mayfly36
You will need a "European" paassport. This is available from your Firearms dept or police station, well it should be. It should only take a week or so when completed, to be returned to you, at least thats the way it is here in N.I. No charge by the way.
