Pinkfooty
Fantastic opportunity for Young Shots Due to the outstanding generosity of David Hendry, five BASC Young Shots will enjoy a superb driven day at Cardney Estate, Perthshire on Saturday 4th December. David Hendry is the owner of Cardney Estate, near Dunkeld, and he has invited five junior members of the East of Scotland Wildfowlers (ESAWC) to shoot with him on a fabulous day in the height of the pheasant and partridge season. The young shots must be junior members of ESAWC and be under 21 years of age at the time of the shoot. If they are under 16, they should be accompanied by a parent of guardian. Lunch is included and many ESAWC members will be helping on the day as beaters and pickers-up. Young people who are interested in shooting with David at Cardney on 4th December should contact the ESAWC secretary, David de Gernier, on info@scottish-wildfowling.org.uk as soon as possible. If they are not already ESAWC members, junior membership will cost only £18 inclusive of BASC Young Shot membership. Places on the shoot will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Eric Begbie, an ESAWC member, said, "I have known David Hendry and the Cardney shoot for many years. David was instrumental in developing former grouse moors into superb driven partridge shoots and the "Spooky Valley" drive at Cardney is acknowledged as being one of the very finest drives in Scotland. The lower ground at Cardney is also superb for pheasants. This offer by David is a quite outstanding opportunity for young wildfowlers to sample game shooting and is yet another example of how both ESAWC and sporting agents Hendry, Ramsay and Waters are investing in the future of our sport."
