PaulABF
I'm looking at getting into the tree-felling business when I leave the army. I know that I can use my resettlemnt grant from the army to go to the recognised training place in Kent, BUT, I don't want to. I want to be trained in Northumberland or NE Scotland (ideally whithin comfortable commuting distance from Arbroath. Have any of you any recommendations of companies that teach (to a recognised standard) chainsaw modules 30 and 31? Thanks.

Cookiemonsterandmerlin.
I am lucky I am exempt for the need for training ,it become a very competive market flooded like plumbing was. Make sure you sums add up as it costs a whole lot just to get bassic gear. Still on a plus note you will enjoy the lifestyle and and the very best of luck in training and the future. Kind regards OTH Edited July 13, 2010 by Over the hill
