Hiya, I collect Sea Angling books, and have a dealer coming to see/value them tonight, so, i've been spending the day cleaning and organising them..this is some of them..:)

Anyway, I've found a few mags and books that are shooting related, and thought, they are no good to me..so, here you go...

This is entitled Half A century of Sport in Hampshire. It was written in about 1918-9, and is as the opening page says..."Being Extracts From the Shooting Journals of James Edward 2nd Earl of Malmesbury". The journal covers from the start of the 19th C to the mid Century. Please see the pics.

I just realised why I have this one...its edited by the great AFLALO, who wrote many of the books on SA that I have..:)

Now, condition, its over 90 years old, and in that time has suffered water damage to the top of the book, but its totally protected the pages and plates..:) but the binding is complete, and reasonably tight, as are the pages.....There is a signature in the book, but no idea who this is..might well be someone "famous". Plates are all present too.

It's a great reading copy for anyone interested in local shooting history in Hampshire.

Price. £20 incl post, 1st Class recorded.
