adam f
Took a bunch of clients out on Friday before the snow hit the South West, and braved the sub-zero tempratures to have a crack at a few winter Rainbow trout at Lechlade, near Swindon. It was a super day - we ended with 65 fish for 17 anglers, the best a 12lb Rainbow and a 9lb brown trout. I ended with 4 the best going 6lb 10oz. All taken a a black montana, floating line but fished about 8' deep on a slow retreave - despite the cold water they fought superbly, esp. as I was using my #4 brook rod! The snow started on the way home and was already 1" deep when I pulled in the door at 7pm!
