theprofessor
Its about this time of year that I start organising our annual fishing trip to Cork in Southern Ireland. Thought I would give a recommendation for Wreckhunter and the skipper Joe Lynch who operates out of Crosshaven harbour. We've been for 5 years in a row now and it is always great. We get cheap flights from Stanstead to Cork (from £5-40 depending on taxes, wind direction etc...) and hire the boat for the day. It's a brilliant day out and great value, we've done the whole day including travel for £70! If you fancy a charter day and you don't live near the coast I'd really reccomend it. Joe is a great skipper, really friendly, knowledgable and always gets you over some fish. We normally come back with 10kg each of filleted cod/pollack/ling not to mention mackerel!
