Hunter2
I have recently moved location and the replacement certificates for both sgc and fac took a little while to be sorted. I have had a letter sent to me from the firearms unit asking me to collect a spent round from each rifle and shotgun and keep in a seperate location from my firearms in case they were stolen, I was wondering if anyone else had come across this? Whilst I understand the reason of why it could enable the police to identify a firearm being used after it has been stolen (only if the spent round was left behind) Going forward: isnt this something they could have the proof house do example: fire and collect a spent round from every rifle and shotgun thats fired? Interested to know if anyone else has been asked or is this is the future for all holders of firearms and shotgun certificates.
