I met a bloke last week that i have never seen before, he asked if we could walk out accross the marsh together (it was 6am)as he wasnt sure where to go, i thought he must be a new member ? so naturaly that was fine. After the flight was over and we met back at the motors it turned out the reason he was a bit unsure where to go was because its been 10 years since the last time he visited the marsh, so you can see how dificult it can be to get in. I let my probationary membership go - I just couldn't get anybody to take me out, I got fed up of trying. Its a good thing to have a probationer membership - but a massive flaw that they don't have a list of people to take newbies out!
