steves4661
I've a browning GP which is finished in varnish but I want to strip it and give it an oil finish instead. I'm just a little concerned about removing the metal work and then beeing able to fit it back to together. As I can see there is just three screws to remove and then the metal work should come off, but is it as simple as this or will I end up with springs and little bits of metal dropping off all over the place? Any advice or tips would be much appreciated.
apache
It is usually straight forward screws [or bolt] into wood. Fear not. Edited March 15, 2011 by apache
malantone
Just done my AYA nothing dropped to bits when I took the metal work off, go for it, make sure you use the correct fitting screwdriver or you can damage the screw heads.
