Gimlet
My Deben Atom Pro has expired. Fault with wiring and/or lithium battery. Won't bore with details but I don't fancy another Deben lamp. However one thing I did like about the Atom was the stock mounted dimmer switch (though not the fact that it converted battery output to 6v halving light levels). Thinking about Cluson Masterlite Supreme. They're advertised with dimming "facility". Is this stock-mounted and does it effect light levels? I need the lamp for rabbit shooting on my .22 lr, always with red filter, out to about 80 yards, and the occaisional sub-100yard fox with .17 hmr. Atom did this well but I want less cabling, quicker switching between guns, better mount and no problems. Will Masterlite fit the bill? Also what are the ND3/ND5 lazer lights like. Any good or better off saving the money for proper night vision?
