Salop Matt Posted March 20, 2011 Report Share Posted March 20, 2011 Guys I have a MTC cobra 3-9x42 (value = £57) but its with MTC at the moment having a check on it ! If I end up upgrading it and spending £189 on a mamber 3-12x44. But before I go considering it is there anything else I should consider first? Its to go on a FAC Rapid 7 .22 30FPE. Am sure that I want to stay along the lines of 3-12 mag as above 12x isnt going to get used much ! Also 44mm as I dont want to have to buy bigger mounts and also its just not needed to be any bigger. . . . . . I have a mamber 3-12x44 on my HMR and love it ! I also value a illuminated ret and a cross hair along the lines of scb, mil dot, amd etc. Not just a plain cross hair or german style reticule . So what else for under £189 would you recomend ? Have one on my 22 40 ftlb daystate One on my .22 custom ruger One on my 22 1710 dhb anschutz I have goten to the stage All my scopes are left on 8x mag because I find it ideal for everything. 6.5shooter Posted March 23, 2011 Report Share Posted March 23, 2011 Apache, No not with FAC, with my two .22 rimfires. I only shoot 60-70 yards max with my FAC airgun on a calm day on live targets.
