linny Posted April 27, 2011 Report Share Posted April 27, 2011 (edited) i have seen quite i few posts saying to use tippex for the white on pigeon decoys i looked at some tippex under ultraviolet a while back and was surprised at the colour change its a light purple in colour so if thats what the pigeons see in its wrongs ive made up some uv paint and painted up some old decoys with it and a project hyper flap type thing thats under way hope the pictures come out not very scientific but taken with camera on low light setting under uv lighting the x is the tippex as you can see not white as the neck and the wing bars ill post some more pictures linny Edited April 27, 2011 by linny Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

rtaylor Posted April 29, 2011 Report Share Posted April 29, 2011 Looks good mate what sort of paint did you use? I painted mine with just ordinary white household paint. It seemed to work well, I didn't think any where phased by the paint. I shot 35 in 2 hours the other day. Should have had all day at them, but had things to do.
