Franchi Harrier playing up

Hello all could someone shed some light on what may be wrong with my Franchi please before i take it to my gunsmith? It has now developed two faults, first one is that when I put in my snap caps and let off the trigger on the bottom barrel it automatically engages for the top barrel straight away(without any recoil to set 2nd hammer), before I had to select the top barrel to do this. Second fault which started today is the bottom firing pin is'nt making full contact with the cartridge, on removal of the cart you can see its making contact but not as deep as a spent cart? Hope this makes sense, thanks in advance

I dont know what the action in the Harrier looks like, but at a guess the inertia block or sears are more worn now than when you used to do it, so the sear slips off the block more easily. Unless it isnt firing, dont worry about it. The second problem could be a couple of things.

Either way, take it to a gunsmith and they will be able to answer better than any of us can guess ;)
