vole
This is a posh breakfast or cheap easy supper for fish lovers . There are fancy ways of doing it but this is a basic one . You need : Smoked haddock fillets 3/4 smaller or 2 bigger . Frozen are good AND boneless . About £2 a bag from supermarket . 2 bags of boil in bag basmati . Pre cooked and left to go cold . It is nice and fluffy . 4 boiled eggs . couple of onions. Curry powder , whichever you fancy . Quantity depends on strength ? 2 /3 tbs full or so . A Wok is good for this . Poach your Haddock fillets as per instructions ( usually no need to thaw ) and flake them into a dish , check for bones . Soften your sliced onions in wok or pan in some oil then add your curry powder and fry . I add tomato puree if it is too dry . Stir in your Basmati rice and stir in , coat it all in curry paste . Stir in your Haddock and heat through . Serve with the sliced boiled eggs on top . If you have never had Kedgeree , this is an quick introduction . It is easy to tart up by following one of the many posher recipes .
