Steve177
Hi Folks, Bought a Gamo deltamatic for the youngest, was told that it needs a new mainspring. So My question is, how do i go about changing the mainspring? All i have found on youtube is how to change the trigger mech on a CF. I have looked on the Chambers website, but whereas the diagram is excellent, it doesn't show how to remove the mainspring. Any help will be greatly recieved Thanks Steve

Beardo
i would get it done by a competent gunsmith, and get it chrono'd by them - too easy to get in trouble with the law and power regulations.
Steve177
Hi, all, Lo and behold in this months Airgun Shooter, there is an article on stripping a Gamo Stuzen. A diffrent rifle i know, but the rear of the mainspring receiver is the same. So in 10 minutes of reading, the mainspring has been extracted, and off to the gunshop tomorrow for a new one, and then off to the club on Monday to Chrono it. Again, many thanks for all your help Steve Edited June 22, 2011 by Steve177
