TuftySnuffer
Dear All Well thanks for listening its TuftySnuffer here back again from the far reaches of the far far universe. Well then after my works firewall was hardened and having been a defence contractor for several years more than I thought I'd be employed for I thought that I'd never managed to get enough time to be back here again. So its almost like having to reintroduce myself again as a serious airgunner. Hi Y'all good to see you again!! :-) Finally this week got myself my first ever permission on a local equine establishment after 3 years of trying and banging heads against walls. The Bunnies are no longer being preyed on by the local polecat populace and this person in question has said, okay then we know you well enough. Come bag some bunnies, as they are really a pain now. So I'm now here with my Weihrauch Hw 2080K .177 (its a customised 80 for Ft use with extra weight up front) which is a nice beasty for bagging them with, albeit its very very heay designed for standing 30 yds groups, I can appreciate the need now to get a multi shot PCP. Howeer I did buy the AGS PCR 1 and whilst accurate for the 1st 20 shots it really doesn't hold enough charge for the serious bunny bash and will scattergun after that. I'm looking at plumping for a AA S200 , but here is where I need the adice of the populace. Should I Trade the custom HW 2080K in and the AGS PCR for a new machine? Get a decent 2nd hand one off here? Incidentally how many rounds per 232 bar fill are folks getting for their AA S200's? Any answers gratefully appreciated. Take care.. ste12b
Hi Paul, I love my AA S400 (.177) and it is great for bunnies. I would be tempted to keep the old rifle as it may be difficult to replace at a later date. I tend to have a really sweet spot on my rifle at 150 bar, so try and run it around that. However it will run from 200 to about 110, with a little drift in power. Ste
