Redditch
Just bought a new Beretta A400 XPlor Light. I haven´t been shooting in the UK since 1978, and have just returned. I used to use BB for fox, 4 for goose, 5 for duck, 6 for general rough shooting, and 7 for decoying pigeons, and clay pigeons. Anyone have a better suggestion on cartridge sizes now ( I know, I´ll have to use steel shot for waterfowl, so sizes for that please), and also which make of cartridge would you suggest as good patterning (Opti chockes Cylinder, quarter, half, and full) in the Beretta ? I´ll be using slugs through cylinder when boar shooting in France, but wondered what would pattern good in shot. Someone said Fiocchi should do the job. On the continent I used to use Remington, Winchester, Fiocchi, RWS, and Rottweil. Thanks in anticipation.
