Hi

I got my liner from fluesystems.com they were very good and the cheapest I could find. Because i saved a load of money getting it online i went for 904/904 to make sure it was up to the job for all fuels and slumbering.

You need to check building regs and it is a reportable event requiring inspection (unless a registered fitter). You may have an issue with a smaller liner than the outlet of the fire, I am sure the guidance makes comment on restricting the diameter. Think they defer to the the manufacturer of the stove,if they put a 7" outlet on thats probably what you need.

Don't forget hearth size etc and with that size stove you need permentant ventalation.

You don't say where you are but if you are anywhere near me I have a couple of large bags of vermiculite you can have (i never got round to using it).

As alex says a liner is required if your chimney is not clay lined because the tar soaks into the brickwork and will eventually catch light. Remember that although it may hold the smoke now doesn't mean it will be gas tight in the future. As my bedroom is in the room above i didn't want carbon monoxide potentially leaking through so fitted one.
