Gun Watch Posted July 9, 2011 Report Share Posted July 9, 2011 Vintage Hi-Standard USA (J C Higgins) Vintage 1953 J C Higgins Mod. 30 £60 .22 LR Rifle Trade Seller Used - Good Condition Wolverhampton, Staffordshire Semi-Automatic Description 1953 VINTAGE J.C.HIGGINS (Mfr.BY HI-STANDARD USA) .22LR SEMI-AUTO RIFLE in better condition than the seller. 24in. nitro barrel (proved in 2010) with full length 17 Shot tubular magazine, 14in. American Walnut pistolgrip stock with built in retractable sling. This rifle is unusual in that the cocking lever is on the LH side of the gun but the ejection port is on the RH side. Nearly 60 years old it is younger than me and probably better looking a nice little S/A .22 that is in good working order, again unlike the seller. Cycles subs no problem.
